Olivers is the son of a photographer and an art director and grew up around photo studios. He and his father set up a darkroom in the cellar of their house the day he left primary/elementary school. He then proceeded to waste thousands of pounds of film and photographic paper over the next few years,

He became a photographic assistant at various London studios in his early teens. Here he had the opportunity to watch photographers such as Rankin, Palo Roversi, Vincent Peters and David Bailey in action,

Around the age of 18 Oliver started working for magazines, early commissions included Star and You magazine, he then studied Television production at Ravensbourne college, before becoming a camera assistant at 3 mills studios in East London, working on the Sky one series the Dream team, before jumping ship to Bad Girls and then a brief stint on the Corpse bride and dailies on Charlie and Chocolate factory.

After that Oliver started getting photographic commissions from ouch magazine, Rob Brydon’s production company Jones The Film.  The BBC, The National Theatre   and various magazines and brands, such as Timberland, Golddigga and NIke.

In 2014 Oliver started directing Music videos and short films for major labels, Warner, Virgin, EMI and Atlantic.

After the death of his father Oliver was looking for something that reminded him of things that made photography so exciting in the beginning.  He found a box of the old cameras they said they would try in the early days of the darkroom in the cellar but never did, and started making videos about them and uploading them to youtube/Olitography
